Sony is Giving ‘The Last of Us Remastered’ Away for Free

Sony has announced a PS4 bundle that includes one of the console’s greatest games, The Last of Us Remastered, at no additional charge to us. If this bundle sounds familiar, it’s because it originally popped up last year as a temporary holiday deal, but now it’s been made permanent.

So for those of you who held out on upgrading to current-gen for this long, $399.99 will net you a 500GB console and (what looks like) a digital copy of one of the most acclaimed games of all time.

Our very own Vikki Blake called The Last of Us “immersive interactive storytelling at it’s incredible, terrifying best” in her review.

Wow! I’m sold. Now I’m off to my local game store to buy not 1 but 2 of these. Next I’m selling these to 2 clueless grandmas for 666 bucks.

    Ahh I love capitalism.

Should be an actual disc, screw this digital copy BS.

  • Tailor00

    I love this game.

  • This is a BS bundle that’s been available for some time here in Canada which I fell for and ended up getting the hard copy of the game. I’m not a fan of digital copies and providing just a voucher is a slap in the face for those with limited data plans (50 Gb download!). At the very least they could sell the console with the game already on the hard drive and it wouldn’t cost them anything to include the hard copy.

Booo with digital. Physical discs, or get out. You can’t resell digital copies on e-Bay.

personally, i buy a game because i want to play it, not because i want to sell it. but that’s just me.
